Well; I'm BACK! And hopefully to STAY, this time! What do I start of with; for my triumphant return to the Blogasphere? Well; since this a GEEK BLOG; I guess I'll talk a bit about what's going on in the Geekverse these days. As my friends know; I have MANY geek pursuits: COMIC BOOKS. SCIENCE FICTION/FANTASY (books, film and TV) I have other interests as well: NFL, politics, history etc.) but, BLOGGERIN' TIME is dedicated to the GEEK STUFF!

How I learned to read....POWER RECORDS!!!

No Shit, pals! Listened to the record, (TEN GAZILLION TIMES!) looked at the words on the pages, matched what I was hearing to what I was seeing...and that was pretty much THAT! I was slowly able to grasp more about reading comprehension with these crazy record/comics than I ever learned in the crappy Louisiana "educational system" of the 60s and 70s! The schools were FUBAR back then; as there are NOW!
